Bundeli Samahor-10 to commence from today

The two-day 'Bundeli Samaroh-2010' would be inaugurated today by Governor Rameshwar Thakur in Shaheed Bhavan near MLA Rest House in capital Bhopal under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Bundelkhand Sahitya and Sanskriti Parishad. The festivity would mark the birth anniversary of Bundel Kesari Chhatrasal.


The function would be chaired by Finance Minister Raghavji and addressed by Minister for Culture Lakshmikant Sharma. On this occasion, the Governor would release senior litterateur Kailash Madbaiya's two important literary creation - an illustrated poetic scripture 'Jai Veer Bundele Jawanan Ki' (Hail the Gallant Bundeli Soldiers) and a historic gazette 'Vindhya ke Bankure' (Brave Men of Vindhya Region). He would also honour three senior personalities of Bundelkhand region with national award


The celebration would begin from 8 a.m. in the morning by floral tribute offering at statue of Chhatrasal at Chhatrasal trisection, Tin shade. MP Kailash Joshi would be the chief guest of the function on this occasion, which would be presided over by Mayor Krishna Gaur.
A literary meet of litterateurs, artists from all across the Bundelkhand would begin from 5 p.m. in the evening at Shaheed Bhavan in which literary recitation on folk literature would be held.
The main function would be inaugurated at 7 p.m. by Governor Ramehwar Thakur. A grand presentation of Rai folk dance would be showcased by 16 dancers led by international fame Ramsahay Pandey from Sagar. A national poetic meet of Bundeli dialect would also be organised by the Bundeli Festival
